Meet Jenna!

As a representational oil painter, Jenna's work emphasizes the beauty in the mundane. Through still lifes, figural studies, and landscapes, her chiaroscuro style creates an evocative impression, connecting her audience to pause and consider the simple, fleeting moments in life. For Jenna, the canvas is more than a surface; it is a tool for communication and a vessel for healing. Through her understanding of light and color theory, her work translates a sense of calm and slowness—the way light bends over a horizon, the dappled light on a trodden path, the soul of an ancient oak tree—into deep emotional experiences. One brushstroke at a time, she creates a visual sanctuary that honors the connection between humanity and the earth.

Jenna received a BFA in Studio Art from Maryville College in 2010, attended Columbia University for a summer semester to further her education, and hopes to pursue her MFA in studio art.

Outside the studio, she is a dedicated advocate for the environment and women’s empowerment. Having used her own time in nature and art to navigate and heal, she is passionate about helping others find their strength. A portion of her work supports local domestic violence charities, ensuring that her creative success directly contributes to the safety and restoration of women in her community.

Local pickup is available at the studio Saturdays and Sundays 10am-3pm.
